A girl can dream...Africa

The excitement is real... I finally made it!! I'm in Nigeria. One of my biggest dreams was to see my home, to see my family that I haven't seen for 28 years of my life.  I've lived 28 years and never been to Nigeria and I'm finally here with my mum and daughter.  Where do I begin? Stepping into the heart of the hustle and bustle on the streets of Lagos creates more joy for me, the smell of the authentic food makes it all too real, the different languages spoken around me makes me want to join the conversations. We walk happily through the busy streets and stand by to book an Uber to our first stop which is a hotel in Lekki, 5 star to be precise. I arrive and the welcome is so warm from the staff. I feel like I belong... They tell us all we need to know about our short stay and later on tell us about all the amazing things to do in Lagos and we get ourselves prepared to go after resting. THE POWER OF PROCRASTINATION

You're probably thinking how can procrastination have power?  It does.  And we give it so much power when we say "I'll do that in a minute, I'll start it later, I'll do it tomorrow..." and so many other "beautiful" excuses!  By the time we realise, it's literally hours later which then turns into days, then months.. now it's 5 years later and you're looking back thinking what went wrong? Sometimes it could be a lack of motivation... But the greatest outcome of it all is that we are still able to give whatever we were procrastinating on, another chance! It's never too late to continue where you left off.  It goes the same for this blog. The instant gratification of saying I'll post later on got the best of me but I've received some amazing advice and now we move on to better!  This blogging journey won't stop as long as I take each day at a time.  What's one thing you've been procastinating on?  Let's take the s
